Known as SAVO, Tommy Turner is a San Diego native whose roots are embedded in the streets of Southeast San Diego. He came up in the golden era of hip-hop — shaped by the culture, the cipher, the block, and the wall. Graffiti wasn’t a phase; it was a foundation.

That graffiti foundation evolved into fine art, muralism, public installations, and apparel — all carrying the same DNA: raw, intentional, community-first. Operating under the creative platform Tha Block, SAVO explores identity, resilience, transformation, and neighborhood revitalization. His work spans Comic-Con, TwitchCon, and exhibitions across California and nationwide.
